Auto Accident...

What you should know following a car accident.
1) Injuries resulting from car accidents can last a lifetime. Even low impact collisions can cause long term problems in your spine. 2) Seek treatment as soon as possible following the accident whether at the Chiropractor or the ER.
If you are feeling severe pain immediately after the accident you should go to the ER first to rule out severe damage. Chiropractors specialize in treating whiplash and car related injuries and will refer you to a more qualified specialist if needed. Sometimes we will co-treat with other physicians. We have successfully treated thousands of patients who were injured in motor vehicle accidents.
3) If you want an attorney, we can refer you to some of the best in the Dallas area. We will have them send a representative to our office rather than having to go to their office. They will handle all the legal aspects of your case including, settlements, car rentals, and dealing with adjusters. We can help assist you in determining whether or not you need an attorney. Attorney's are only used when the other person has accepted fault. If it was your fault an attorney will not accept the case.
4) We can file on the third party car insurance or your car insurance, depending on who was at fault and what is available. We may also file on health insurance. Our job is to take out all the work and make this an easy process.
5) Do not agree to or sign anything with an insurance agent until you have spoken with your Chiropractor/Doctor/Attorney. This could result in no treatment or settlement to which you are entitled.
